Clinical Study Phases
We conduct rigorous clinical trials from Phase 2 through Phase 4, bridging the gap between intermediate efficacy evaluation and life-changing real-world patient care.
Mid-stage research studies
Mid-stage research testing whether an experimental treatment works while continuing safety monitoring. It is structured into Phase 2a (pilot proof-of-concept for initial efficacy and dosing) and Phase 2b (larger study to confirm the optimal dose and gather robust effectiveness data).
Participants
Usually involves 100 to 300 people who have the target disease or condition.
Duration
Typically lasts from several months up to two years.
Main Goal
To evaluate therapeutic effectiveness (efficacy) and determine common short-term side effects or optimal dosing.
Large-scale studies
Large-scale trials designed to definitively confirm treatment effectiveness, closely monitor side effects, and compare it directly against existing standard therapies. It stands as the final critical step before submitting the drug for regulatory approval.
Participants
Usually involves 1,000 to 3,000+ people who have the target disease or condition.
Duration
Typically lasts from one to several years to observe long-term safety and effectiveness.
Main Goal
To prove statistical evidence of efficacy, confirm safety across a diverse population, and establish the benefit-to-risk ratio.
Real-world monitoring
Post-marketing surveillance conducted after a drug or device receives regulatory approval and reaches the general public. Its purpose is to monitor long-term safety, detect rare risks, evaluate drug interactions, and expand tracking into broader demographics or new therapeutic uses.
Participants
Involves thousands to millions of people in real-world settings.
Duration
Ongoing and long-term, often lasting for several years.
Main Goal
To monitor long-term safety, rare side effects, and real-world effectiveness that could not be detected in smaller, highly controlled clinical trials.
